We Made it!

We made it to the mid point by the sand dune, we got out for a while to rest because it was a pretty intense ride. We were bouncing all over the place and the water was completely covering the car non stop! We had the wipers as fast as they could go and we couldnt stop laughing. When we stopped, everything in the car started to take on a life of its own. The lights would flash on and off and everything went crazy. After that, the car never worked the same again. When we got out, all the people from the bus wanted to talk to us. We ran up to the top of the sand dune, but Tash stayed behind and took the picture of us up on top. This old lady was too afraid to go down on her board so she gave it to me and it was fun! If you look at the bottom of the sand dune picture you can see the river.

Then we continued on following the bus and then finally we made it. We got out and took a picture to mark the end of that adventure. We then continued on to Cape Reinga, we stopped at a local place to eat first and I met a cool guy who was biking all over New Zealand, he was European and he gave me some food, because I didnt like what I had there. He was a really cool person.
